I have been a great admirer of the tabla players when I have visited the Gurdwara, and my interest has developed further when I have heard listened to the great masters. I have recently commenced my journey of learning. I have been grateful to the Harjeet Singh Music Bursary for making this award and for giving me the opportunity to learn and develop.






















My aspiration is that I can one day play tabla at the Gurdwara. My teacher is the Harjit Singh of Azaad Arts and I have been learning for a few months. I have already begun learning bols, and vocalising them, and playing short Palta's . I am grateful to my teacher and parents for the support I am being provided and without the bursary, this would not have been possible. I will be sharing my progress with the bursary team.
